Stone to Lotus
Olivia “Oni” Moschetti is known as, “full of energy, enthusiasm and determination,” particularly for the health and wellbeing of herself, her fellow humans, and the earth. She is a gifted, inspired instructor and counselor with expertise in numerous traditional and non-traditional modalities of the healing arts. She is also a sought-after workshop provider and guest speaker.
Who Olivia was in her formative years, however, is another story. Born to an alcoholic mother and an absent father, Olivia experienced homelessness, abuse, and neglect. As a small child Olivia developed a keen ability to mentally, emotionally, and physically survive. The cost was that she was anxious, angry, distant from her emotions and her true self. When she was 19 yrs. old, her sister told her that hugging her was “like hugging stone.” She had been physically and emotionally hardened by her life experiences, and this was a turning point for Olivia. She made a commitment to herself to transmute her pain into understanding, clarity and peace.
The years unfolded. Despite the challenges, in high school Olivia was elected “Spirit Queen” and “Cheerleading Captain,” not because she was particularly fond of sports, or even the handsome fellows on the teams but, rather, because she was recognized as a cheerleader of life. Olivia went on to achieve a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with emphasis on Neuro Psych from U.C. San Diego, and Master’s degree in Transpersonal Counseling Psychology from Naropa University. She also acquired a unique breadth of awareness and diverse skill set.
But there’s something else: Olivia shares that after 17 years trying to fix herself, she was led to the realization “fixing oneself” has an expiration date. She recognized that her difficult journey aligned her heart with the life cycle of Lotus flower – blooming so beautifully from the deepest and thickest mud: Stone to Lotus. This knowing is the cornerstone of Olivia’s counseling today.
Olivia spends her time training to be as magnificent a human as she can, through meditation, yoga, playing music (or what some ears might “detect” as music), reading, gardening, getting out of bed on time, and showing up. She is a willing and enthusiastic guest speaker and workshop provider. Please contact Olivia for speaking, a workshop, or private or group counseling at email@example.com.
Olivia received her Master’s degree in Transpersonal Counseling Psychology from Naropa Univerity in 2013. She has dedicated her life to serving individuals, communities and our great mother earth.
She has years of experience and a natural passion for assisting others in integrating inner wisdom, spirituality and knowledge into action.
